When it comes to personal protection, comfort is just as important as safety. Our vests are meticulously engineered to fit the human body like a second skin, offering a level of mobility and wearability rarely found in ballistic gear. Every curve, every seam, and every closure is designed to minimize bulk and maximize freedom of movement without compromising protection. We understand that a vest must be worn for hours, sometimes in the most demanding situations, that’s why we pay obsessive attention to fit, ergonomics, and materials. Our designs are based on real-world input from security professionals, law enforcement, and military personnel, ensuring that what we create meets the highest expectations in both function and form.

TNO is internationally recognized as one of the leading authorities in the field of safety, defense, and ballistic testing. Their laboratories are equipped with advanced testing facilities and operate under strict protocols aligned with the latest European and international standards, such as VPAM and NIJ. By testing at TNO, we keep our entire process within the Netherlands – from design and production to certification. Outlast® Temperature Regulation Technology

We use Outlast to help regulate body temperature and improve comfort in every situation.

Why we use Outlast®

At Dutch Body Armor, we believe that protection goes beyond stopping a projectile. It is also about keeping the wearer comfortable, focused, and in control during intense and demanding situations. That is why we incorporate Outlast® temperature regulating technology into the carriers of our vests.

Originally developed for NASA, Outlast® materials actively absorb, store, and release excess body heat. Unlike traditional performance fabrics that only wick moisture away, Outlast® helps regulate your microclimate by keeping you cool when it is hot and warm when it is cold. The result is a vest that feels right in every condition.

By integrating Outlast® into our carriers, we significantly enhance thermal comfort, reduce heat stress, and improve wearability during long shifts or physically demanding missions.
