DBA PAPA™ ACH BALLISTIC HELMET
The DBA PAPA™ ACH Ballistic Helmet was developed because we saw that many ballistic helmets on the market are either too expensive, too heavy, or simply offer more features than most users actually need.
Our goal was straightforward: build a reliable ballistic helmet that delivers proven protection, is comfortable enough for daily use, and remains affordable for military, law enforcement, security professionals, and civilian users alike.
Manufactured in Europe from DuPont® Kevlar® aramid, the PAPA™ combines a lightweight design with dependable ballistic performance. Every component was selected with practicality in mind, resulting in a helmet that does exactly what it is supposed to do.
Specifications
The DBA PAPA™ ACH is available in sizes M (52–55 cm), L (56–59 cm), and XL (60–64 cm), ensuring a secure fit for a wide range of users. Depending on the size, the helmet weighs between 1.25 kg and 1.35 kg. It is offered in Black, OD Green, and Coyote Brown, all finished with a low-signature coating suitable for professional use.
Accessories & Integration
Every PAPA™ helmet comes equipped with an NVG shroud, side rails, and laser-cut Velcro® panels as standard. This allows users to integrate night vision devices, communication equipment, identification patches, and other mission-specific accessories with ease.
Comfort & Fit
A ballistic helmet is only effective if it is comfortable enough to wear when needed. The PAPA™ features a BOA® fit system, a leather-lined 4-point retention system, and sealed memory foam pads to provide a stable and comfortable fit during extended operations.
Ballistic Protection
Built from premium DuPont® Kevlar® aramid, the PAPA™ is tested to NIJ Level IIIA and achieves a STANAG 2920 V50 of 680 m/s. The shell is designed to provide dependable protection against common handgun threats while maintaining a lightweight profile for prolonged wear.
