DBA SB-001™ SOFT ARMOR PANELS
Our ultra-thin SB-001 soft armor panels, designed for discreet integration with reliable protection against bullets, stabs, and needles, made in the Netherlands.
BULLET-, STAB-, AND NEEDLE-RESISTANT
A 3-in-1 bullet-, stab-, and needle-resistant panel is advanced body armor designed to defend against multiple threats in a single system.
The DBA SB-001™ panel is built around this concept, featuring an ultra-thin 5 mm design that is flexible and easy to conceal under regular clothing.
Both the ballistic and needle tests have been officially conducted at the independent TNO laboratory in the Netherlands, a leading defense testing institute, resulting in an official VPAM Statement of Compliance certification.
In addition, the stab resistance was tested according to NIJ 0115.00 standards at E2 level using both the S1 blade and P1A blade, performed by the accredited US laboratory Element.
The DBA SB-001™ panels has been tested to VPAM Level 3, providing protection against handgun threats such as 9×19 mm rounds like the DM41
In addition to its ballistic capabilities, the DBA SB-001™ panels has been tested according to NIJ 0115.00 (E2), providing stab protection up to 35 joules (S1) and 25 joules (P1A).
It also provides protection against injection needle threats up to 2.5 joules.
MATERIALS
Honeywell (Solstice) advanced materials
In our SB-001 panels, we use high-quality materials from Honeywell Advanced Materials, known under the Solstice line.
We utilize the latest and thinnest material available, offering exceptional performance and comfort.
Rivertex TPU materials
Each panel is ultrasonically sealed in a TPU package, using materials sourced from the certified Dutch supplier Rivertex.
This protective layer ensures the ballistic package is 100% waterproof and fully protected from sweat, dust, and other contaminants, allowing us to confidently offer a 7-year warranty on every panel.
ULTRASONIC SEALING
At Dutch Body Armor, our soft armor panels are enclosed in a TPU cover and sealed with ultrasonic technology, making them fully water-resistant and keeping moisture and sweat from affecting performance.
This way we can provide a 7-year warranty, 2 years longer than the standard, to ensure lasting protection.
PRODUCTION
All of our vests and soft armor vests are 100% produced in Europe, with every panel made in our own facility in the Netherlands.
This allows us to guarantee high-quality production and consistent protection in every vest.
