Both the ballistic and needle tests have been officially conducted at the independent TNO laboratory in the Netherlands, a leading defense testing institute, resulting in an official VPAM Statement of Compliance certification.

In addition, the stab resistance was tested according to NIJ 0115.00 standards at E2 level using both the S1 blade and P1A blade, performed by the accredited US laboratory Element.

In our SB-001 panels, we use high-quality materials from Honeywell Advanced Materials, known under the Solstice line. We utilize the latest and thinnest material available, offering exceptional performance and comfort.

Each panel is ultrasonically sealed in a TPU package, using materials sourced from the certified Dutch supplier Rivertex. This protective layer ensures the ballistic package is 100% waterproof and fully protected from sweat, dust, and other contaminants, allowing us to confidently offer a 7-year warranty on every panel.

The DBA SB-001 uses Outlast® PCM technology to regulate your body temperature, keeping you comfortable for 12–14 hours. It adapts to heat and cold, ensuring optimal performance during extended wear.

We use original Velcro® brand hook-and-loop fasteners to ensure a secure, durable, and reliable fit on every carrier. Velcro® is widely regarded as the highest-quality fastening solution on the market, known for its long lifespan and consistent performance, even under heavy daily use.

Our DBA SB-001 features Outlast® PCM technology, originally developed by NASA, to maintain your body at the optimal temperature, neither too hot nor too cold. Thanks to Outlast®, you can wear the vest comfortably for extended periods of 12–14 hours straight.

Because Outlast® is a temperature-regulating technology, not a material, it actively stores and releases heat as needed. Traditional mesh or sweat-wicking fabrics only remove heat, but they cannot keep you warm when it’s cold.
